The Rhapsody menus list most of Rhapsody's
functions, and control many of Rhapsody's options.

There are five menus in the menu bar:

File |
Open the File menu to create a new playlist or new AutoPlaylist, play a music file from your hard drive(s), add music files from your hard drive(s) to My Library, sign in or sign out of your Rhapsody account, or close Rhapsody Media Player. | |

Controls |
Open the Controls menu to control the playback of tracks with the Rhapsody player. (This can also be done directly from the Rhapsody Controls.) | |

My Account |
Open the My Account menu to view and manage your Rhapsody account, authorize or deauthorize a computer or portable player, update your track licenses, or change your Rhapsody membership. | |

Tools |
Open the Tools menu to access the audio equalizer (Rhapsody feature that allows you to fine-tune your audio playback by increasing or decreasing the volume within specific frequency ranges), minimize Rhapsody to your system tray (for use with UPnP (Universal Plug and Play; UPnP technology allows the networking of PCs, wireless devices, and intelligent appliances) devices), or edit your Rhapsody Preferences. | |

Help |
Open the Help menu to open the Rhapsody QuickGuide, access this Help file, visit the Rhapsody Customer Support page,check for software updates, and get information on the version of Rhapsody you are currently using. |

Note: In addition to the visible menus, some commands and features are also available in right-click menus (menu of alternate commands; available when you click the right mouse button while using an application) throughout Rhapsody. Commands available in a right-click menu will vary depending upon which feature or item is currently selected in Rhapsody. |
