My Rhapsody

Rhapsody is all about your music when you want it. It is also about discovering new artists and new music. By listening to music, rating, and choosing a few of your favorite artists and genres (type or category; for example: rock, classical, or rap), My Rhapsody will find detailed album recommendations and new releases based on your interests.

To open My Rhapsody, click the My Rhapsody tab at the top of the Music Guide.

The first time you go to My Rhapsody, you will be prompted to "Set Up My Rhapsody". Click Start Now and follow the steps to add genres you like.

As soon as you've played some music, My Rhapsody will start making music suggestions for you. The more music you play and rate, the better your suggestions will be.

My Rhapsody offers may ways to enjoy personalized music. Explore the page to find new music, and refine the recommendations Rhapsody gives you.

Feature		What does it do?
My Features		The My Features list offers new music recommendations, and allows you to edit your music genres and artist alerts. Albums For You:Albums that Rhapsody recommends for you, based on your genres list. New Releases: New releases in your selected genres. Just Added: Music just added to Rhapsody in your selected genres. Artist Alerts: Enter the names of your favorite artists to receive email alerts when those artists release new music, or add new music to Rhapsody. My Charts: Shows your personal Top Albums, Top Artists, and Top Tracks, based on your rating and listening history.
My Ratings		My Ratings is an easy reference to the albums and tracks you have rated. Top Rated Album: Shows your current highest-rated album. Rating Stats: Tells you how many artists, albums, and tracks you have currently rated. Click to see a detailed, sortable view of your ratings.
My Recommendations		Rhapsody's latest recommendations for you. Albums For You:Albums that Rhapsody recommends for you, based on your genres list. New Releases: New releases in your selected genres. Just Added: Music just added to Rhapsody in your selected genres. Click to view all your current recommendations. Use the Next and Previous arrows to scroll through your recommended albums.
Listen Now		Listen to Rhapsody Channels, and playlists in Playlist Central based on your listening history, rating history, and selected genres. Click the Suggested Channels tab to view recommended channels. Click the SuggestedPlaylists tab to view recommended playlists. Click See more to view all Rhapsody channel and playlist recommendations. Use the Next and Previous arrows to scroll through your recommended stations and playlists.
My Dynamic Playlist		This is a playlist created for you by Rhapsody, based on your recent listening history. Click at the top of the playlist to add the Instant playlist to Now Playing and begin playback. Click next to an individual playlist track to add that track to Now Playing and begin playback. Click at the top of the playlist to add it to your collection in My Playlists. Since it is a Dynamic playlist, it will be updated with fresh tracks each time you sign in. Click next to an individual track in the playlist to add that track to My Library. Click a star in the Rating Selector next to any individual track to rate it, or click the Ban icon to ban it. Banned tracks will never be in your My Rhapsody recommendations. Click to view your complete Dynamic playlist. Click Refresh Playlist to get a Dynamic playlist with all new tracks. Note:Your old Dynamic playlist will be lost, so if you wish to save it, be sure to click before creating a new playlist. If you want to save My Dynamic Playlist as a "regular" playlist: Click to add the Dynamic Playlist to the Playlists area. Clear the current contents of Now Playing. Drag the Dynamic playlist from the Playlists area to Now Playing in the Sources area. Click Now Playing in the Sources area to view Now Playing. Click Save as Playlist.
My Genres		Edit your genres list, and view the genres you currently have selected. Click Edit to add or remove genres from your list. You can have up to 10 genres at any time. Feature Genres: Click the name of any of your feature genres to go to that genre's page in the Music Guide.
My Rhapsody Channel		Have Rhapsody create an instant Rhapsody Channel for you, based on your favorite genres, ratings, and recent listening history. Click to play your channel. Click to add your channel to My Channels in the Sources area.
Recent Playlists		Lists playlists from Playlist Central that you have recently played. Click next to a playlist to add it to Now Playing and begin playback. Click next to a playlist to add it to your collection in the Playlists area.
Recent Channels		Lists Rhapsody Channels and live radio stations you have recently played. Click next to a station to play it. (Rhapsody Channels and live radio stations are not added to Now Playing during playback.) Click next to a Rhapsody channel or radio station to add it to My Stations in the Sources area.
