Why is stream playback stopping or failing to start when using a broadband or wireless connection?

Some versions of network hardware do not reliably provided streaming support using normal transports for RealPlayer. If you are experiencing problems, even after updating with the latest software and firmware available from your hardware manufacturer, try using HTTP transport exclusively.

To switch to HTTP exclusively:

  1. Select RealPlayer > Preferences.

  2. Open the Transport pane.

  3. Select Use manually configured

  4. Click Configure...

  5. Disable (clear) all transports except HTTP.
