CD Display

Rhapsody can access all the compatible CD drives installed on your computer. The contents of a CD are always shown in the Display Area (below).

From the CD view, you can:

Play CD tracks.
Import tracks from the CD to My Library.
Retrieve CD information.
Edit the CD information.
Eject the CD from your CD drive.

Viewing CD Contents

In CD Importing and Playback Preferences, you can set Rhapsody to automatically display the contents of a CD as soon as it is inserted. If that preference is not selected, click the CD icon ( ) in the Source List (left) to display a CD's contents. All CD drives that contain an audio CD appear in the Source List.

If your CD drive is equipped with a CD burner, you can create your own music CDs. If you have more than one CD burner on your computer, you can choose your default burner in CD Burning Preferences.

Edit CD Info Using Track Info

You can edit the CD information displayed in the CD view of the Display Area using Track Info. To use Track Info, highlight the track you wish to edit, then select Edit Track Info from the right-click menu. CD information changed in Track Info will be retained on the computer on which it was edited.

Buttons in the CD View of the Display Area

There are three buttons at the top of the CD view of the Display Area:

Button		Description
CD Options		Click to Get CD Info, Import CD Settings (opens your CD Importing and Playback Preferences), or Clear CD Info.
Eject		Ejects the CD from your computer's CD drive.
Import Tracks		Import tracks from the CD to My Library.
