You can use Rhapsody to save (rip) the tracks from any commercial or custom CD onto your computer. When you complete the CD Importing process, the files will be automatically added to My Library as local tracks. Imported CD tracks appear in the On My Computer view of My Library. The files themselves will be saved on your hard drive, in the folder you have selected in your General Preferences.

Everybody has a few CDs that have just one or two good songs on them. With Rhapsody, you don't have to import the whole CD. You can import individual tracks as well as entire albums from any prerecorded audio CD. Then you can collect your favorite songs into playlists, burn them to CDs for a road trip or a party, or transfer them to your portable device.
You can choose the format and quality of imported files in your CD Importing and Playback Preferences, so there will never be a conflict with your portable device. See Audio Formats and Quality for additional information about import formats.
