Two types of tracks
are downloaded from Rhapsody: purchased
tracks (
) and subscription
tracks (
). Once downloaded, a local
music file is saved in your download file folder
(either your computer's default music folder, or a folder you select in
your General Preferences) and the track
name is added to My Library. Downloaded tracks
can be played with Rhapsody even when you are offline.
Music files that you download from sources other than Rhapsody can be imported into My Library. Select File > Import Music to My Library from the Rhapsody Menus.

The Download
Manager (
) will appear in the Source
List when you purchase a track or download a subscription track, and
it will remain for the duration of the current session.
When the Download Manager is selected, the download status for each queued file can be viewed in the Display Area. The Download Manager will also display tracks that have completed downloading for the duration of the current session. To empty the session list of downloaded files, click Clear Completed.
You can click Pause Download to temporarily suspend the download process. Click Pause Download again to continue. If downloading is unintentionally interrupted, you will be prompted to resume the download the next time you sign in to Rhapsody.
Note: Not all Rhapsody subscription tracks are available for download. If a track is not available,
it will appear in the Download Manager as a stream (
),
with the notation "Not Available for D/L".
