My Library Views

Select My Library ( ) in the Source List to view the contents of My Library in the Display Area. The tracks that you have added to My Library are listed here.

Select All Tracks, On My Computer, or Shareable Tracks from the View menu (at the top of the Display Area) to view your tracks by type.

There are three filtered views of My Library available through the Library View menu.

All Tracks



Shows all of the tracks that you have saved to My Library: streamed subscription tracks ( ), downloaded subscription tracks ( ),  purchased tracks ( ), tracks Imported from CD, and local files you have imported.

Music in the All Tracks view can be collected into playlists. You can combine all types of tracks into a single playlist. However, only playlists containing nothing but Rhapsody subscription (streamed or downloaded) and purchased tracks are available to share, and will be available in My Library when you sign in from a different computer.

If a playlist contains one or more local, non-Rhapsody track, it cannot be shared, and will not appear in My Library if you sign in from a different computer.
 

Note: You must have the appropriate Rhapsody subscription to add or download subscription tracks to My Library. Subscription downloads are only available to users on XP systems. Operating systems prior to XP cannot support subscription downloads at this time.

Shareable Tracks

Shows all streamed and downloaded subscription tracks and purchased tracks that you have saved to My Library.

Music in the Shareable Tracks view can be collected into playlists. Subscription tracks can be combined with purchased tracks to create playlists, and those playlists will be available to share, and will be available in My Library when you sign in from a different computer.

On My Computer

Shows all local (Imported from CD and non-Rhapsody files) tracks, purchased tracks, and downloaded subscription tracks that you have saved to My Library.

Music in the On My Computer view can be collected into playlists. However, playlists that include one or more local, non-Rhapsody track cannot be shared, and will not appear in My Library if you sign in from a different computer.

You can play local, purchased, and downloaded subscription tracks whether or not you are signed in to your Rhapsody account.

Note: Local tracks (not purchased through Rhapsody) have no associated track icon.

Note: The All Tracks view, Shareable Tracks view and On My Computer view are navigated in exactly the same way. They are simply filtered views of the full contents of My Library.
