The Play view of the Mixer shows tracks that are currently queued to play, and the tracks that have most recently been played. Play can also be used as a scratch pad for creating playlists. Add tracks to Play from the Music Guide, or drag and drop files, links, or tracks from your computer's file folders, a browser, or My Library into Play.

You can save the contents of Play for future use by saving it as a permanent playlist in the Source List.

Play View of the Mixer

The Play status bar (at the bottom of the Play window) displays the number of tracks in the list and the total playing time.

Each track in Play appears in a table. To the left is the number in which the track is ordered. (You can drag and drop the tracks into any order you desire.) Next is the name of the track. This column is followed by the track's length, the name of the artist, the name of the album, and the genre.

You can rearrange the column order by clicking on a column and dragging it to a new position on the column bar. Only the # column cannot be moved.

Note: You can widen the Mixer by clicking the left side of the Display Area and dragging it to the right.
