After you have created a playlist or two, you can listen to your selections.

You can play playlists made of local,  purchased ( ), and downloaded subscription tracks ( ) any time, whether you are signed in or not. Playlists made from streamed  subscription tracks ( ) can be played only when you are signed in. (See Track Types for more details.)

Note: Use of subscription downloads is only available to users on Windows XP systems. Operating systems prior to XP cannot support subscription downloads at this time.

To play a playlist:

Select any playlist in the Source List to show its contents in the Display Area. Click at the top of the Display Area to begin playback.

To play a single track in a playlist:

After opening any playlist from the Source List, double-click any track in the Display Area to start playing that track.

Note: You can also edit playlists to add new tracks, delete existing tracks, or change track order.
