Use these preferences to control how tracks are stored in and deleted from My Library. Access them at Tools > Preferences: My Library in your Rhapsody Menus.

Ask for confirmation... |
(Default: On) When enabled, Rhapsody will ask for confirmation before deleting any tracks from My Library. Note: Select Also delete tracks from my hard drive in the "Confirm track deletion" dialog before clicking OK to remove the track from your hard disk as well as your Library. | |

Remove tracks... |
(Default: Off) When enabled, deleting tracks from My Library will also delete the associated local music file (if any). Warning: If you do not have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library Preferences, but you do have Remove tracks from my hard drive... selected, you will delete tracks from your hard drive whenever you delete them from My Library, and you will not be warned first. | |

Backup and Restore My Library |
Backup My Library: Saves a copy of the Track Info that you have added to My Library using Edit Track Info command, and any CD Info you have added. (This information is only on the computer on which it was edited. It is not synchronized between authorized computers.) Restore My Library: Copies the most recently backed up custom Track Info and CD Info into My Library. Warning: When you choose to Restore My Library, any Track Info or CD Info you entered since your last backup will be overwritten. |
