To access Playlist
Central, click
at the top of the Music Guide.
Playlist Central is an online community; a place to find new music, share the music you love, and see what's hot and what's not. Listen to, rate, and share playlists published by Rhapsody, or created by other Rhapsody users.
You can publish your own
playlists from the Mixer, a Playlist view of the
Display Area, or publish music directly
from My Library.
Rhapsody's
Music Guide is the place to find your favorite popular music, and
make new music discoveries. With Playlist Central, you can share
your musical tastes and discoveries with the world.
Click the name of any playlist in any Playlist Central view to display the contents of that playlist.
A playlist page in Playlist Central displays each track in that playlist, along with any individual track comments.

Select a star
(beneath the playlist art) to rate the playlist.

next
to any playlist title to add it to My
Playlists.
Click
next
to an individual track to add the track to My Library.
Click
next
to any individual track to add it to the Mixer
and play it.
Press
[CTRL] +
to
add a track to the Mixer without starting immediate playback.
Click
next to any playlist to share it.
Note: The crown icon (
) indicates that a playlist
was published by one of Rhapsody's Music Guide Editors.
Come to Playlist Central Home to browse and discover:
Top 20 User Playlists. See and listen to Playlist Central's current Top 20 playlists, based on playlist rating and number of views.
Genre Mixes. Playlists published by Rhapsody and Playlist Central community members, grouped by genre.
Celebrity Picks. Playlists posted by guest celebrities.
Theme/Holiday Mixes. These are playlists centered around different themes or events. Some are posted by Rhapsody, some by Playlist Central community members. Depending on the time of year, you might find theme playlists for Valentine's Day, the Super Bowl, the Grammys, or other occasions.
Decade Mixes. Playlists grouped by decade. You might find '80's Indie hits, 50's doo-wop, or a mix from the Summer of Love.
Single Artist Mixes. Playlists featuring the work of a single artist.
Label Spotlights. Playlists featuring music from particular recording labels.

Select a category (such as Single Artist Mixes or Label Spotlights) from the Playlist Central Home page.
Click the More button on the bottom right of a Category page (if available) to see more playlists in that category.
Use the Playlist Filter drop-down list (if available) to sort a category by All Playlists or Editor Playlists.
Select Top Ranked or Most Recent to sort by that property (if available).
Note: Some playlist categories with few entries may not show the More button, the Playlist Filter drop-down, or the Sort By options.
Use the following controls and options to play, save, share, and rate an open playlist in Playlist Central, or view more playlists.

Click Play to add the playlist to the Mixer and begin playback. If you have
Clicking the Play button: Adds song to Mixer selected in your General Preferences, the playlist

Rate It |
When viewing a playlist, click any star to rate the
playlist from 1-5 stars. Your rating will appear next to the playlist
name whenever you open that playlist, and it will contribute to the playlist's
overall ranking in Playlist Central. | |

Click the playlist's author alias, genre type, or category to view all the playlists associated with that selection. |
