Create an Instant Playlist

Select Instant Playlist in the Features block of My Rhapsody or from the Recently Played tab of What You're Playing on the Home page to have Rhapsody Online create a unique playlist A series of tracks played in sequence. Think of a playlist as a virtual album. Instant Playlists and playlists from Playlist Central are an excellent way to discover new music. for you based on the on-demand Audio/Video media that's available on the internet for immediate playback, without waiting to download a file. (Same as streaming media.) music that you have listened to most recently. Creating an Instant Playlist is a great way to find new music.

Create

To generate an Instant Playlist, select Instant Playlist on the My Rhapsody page or from the Recently Played tab of What You're Playing on the Home page. A new list is created each time you select Instant Playlist, or after you click the Create a New Playlist button.

Note: Rhapsody cannot create an Instant Playlist for you until you have listened to several tracks or edited your Genre List at least once. See My Rhapsody for details.

Play

To play your Instant Playlist, click Play All at the top of the list. The list is added to the track queue in the Player, and starts playing.

You can choose to play any individual track from your list by clicking the Play button ( ) next to that track.

Save

To save your Instant Playlist in your playlist collection, click Play All at the top of the list to add it to the track queue in the player, then click at the top of the player to open the "Add" dialog.

To share your Instant Playlist, click Play All at the top of the list to add it to the Player, then click Share at the bottom of the Player to open the "Share Music" dialog.

Create New

Click Create a New Playlist at the top of the Instant Playlist page to generate a new Instant Playlist.

Note: This will replace the previous Instant Playlist.

Create as many Instant playlists as you wish; there is no limit. The more music you play with Rhapsody Online, the more interesting and varied your Instant playlists will be.
