Searching the Music Guide

The Search window is located at the top of the Music Guide. Use the Search function to search through Rhapsody's millions of streaming A large media file (audio or video) that is broken into smaller pieces and transferred from a server piece by piece, so it can be viewed immediately rather than waiting for the whole file to be downloaded. tracks. How do I start a search in the Music Guide?

To start a search, first select a category (Keyword, Artist, Track, Album, Composer or Videos) from the drop-down list. Type your search term in the Search field and click Search. (A search term is a word or phrase, such as a track name or an artist name.)

You can also start a search by typing a keyword Any word or short phrase that is related to the media you want to find. For example, an artist's name, an album name, or part of a song title. into the Search field at the bottom of the Player.    Note: there is no category drop-down list in the Player Search field.

The Search feature looks for an exact match to your search term, then looks for matches containing all words.

What can I do with my Search results?

The search results are displayed in the Music Guide. If there is more than one page of results, click Next > to see the next page.

Click the name of any artist, album, genre or track to display the corresponding information in the Music Guide. Click next to any track or album to play it.

To expand or limit your Search results, select one of the following Show options:

Video Search results look a little different. Click to play any video.

Note: More music and artists are being added to the Rhapsody database all the time, so search the Music Guide often.
