Edit Clip Info

You can edit, add and delete Clip Info (such as Album, Artist, and Genre, Art, etc.) for the clips in your library. You access this function in My Library by selecting any clip and then clicking Edit Clip Info in the Edit menu. This will open the Edit Clip Info window.

Clip information is stored in your clip database as a series of properties (data). Most properties are text only and are edited by entering or deleting the desired contents (for example, clicking in Track Name and typing in the name of the song). Some information can be quickly entered by selecting from drop-down menus of existing information, such as Artist Name; or by selecting a value from a menu or entering a new value.

Some data fields are reserved for images such as Cover Art or Artist Photo. To add an image, select the data field and then select Browse. (See Add Art to Clip Info and Add Lyrics to Clip Info for details.)

View Menu (Property Sets)

The property sets are listed in the Edit Clip Info>View menu. Each property set is a subset of all the available Clip Info properties (data fields), allowing you to more easily view and edit a smaller selection of fields. You can display any of the available property sets, or all properties at once:

Delete File Info

Deletes contents of all property fields for the selected clip.

Clear Property

Deletes contents of selected property field.
