Select View >
My Library (
)from the Player menus.
Click New Playlist in the Tasks area of the sidebar.
The New Playlist dialog appears. Follow the on-screen instructions:
Type a playlist name in the text box.
"Make an empty playlist" is the only option.
Click OK. The Add Clips? dialog is displayed.
Click No
to leave the new playlist empty; you can add clips later. The new playlist
is placed in the top level playlist folder.

Click Yes to open the Add Clips
From My Library dialog.
Search through the available media clips and select the desired clip(s).
Click Add to Playlist to add the clip(s) to the playlist and close the Add Clips From My Library dialog. The new playlist is placed into the top level playlist folder.
Note: The other options in the New Playlist dialog are available
when you create a new playlist while you have clips selected. (See Select
Clips and Create a Playlist, below.)

Select
from the Navigation bar
at the top of My Library to show the available playlists.
Select a playlist from the drop-down list to open it.
Drag and drop clips to the playlist from Now Playing or from the Web, or Add Clips From My Library (using steps 5 through 7 below).
From the Tasks area of the My Library sidebar, select Add Clips. This will open the Add Clips From My Library dialog.
Search through the available media clips and select the desired clip(s).
Click Add
to Playlist to add the clip(s) to the playlist and close the Add
Clips From My Library dialog.
Select View >
My Library (
)from the Player menus.
Open a clip category and/or subcategory from the list, or use the Search Library function, to find clips.
Select the clip(s) you wish to include.
Click New Playlist in the Tasks area of the sidebar. This will open the New Playlist dialog.
Follow the on-screen instructions:
Type a playlist name in the text box.
Choose Selected clips in the current view.
Click OK. The Playlist is placed into the top-level playlist folder.
Note: You can Drag and Drop playlists and playlist folders into
and out of playlist folders within the Organizer.

My Library (
)from the Player menus.
If necessary, click Show Organizer in the Tasks area of the sidebar to open the Organizer. Select Playlists in the Organizer.
Right-click anywhere in Organizer to open a contextual menu. Select New Playlist Folder from the menu. The New Playlist Folder dialog will open.
Enter the name of the new playlist folder.
Select the playlist folder (or subfolder) you want the new folder to be located in.
Click OK to exit the New Playlist Folder dialog. The new playlist folder is shown in the display area.
Note: You can Drag and Drop playlists and playlist folders into
and out of playlist folders within the Organizer.
Creating a Playlist is like creating a virtual album. Create Playlists for any occasion or mood. Copy clips of any supported format, audio or video, into your Playlists. Edit them anytime.
You can also save the Now Playing list as a Playlist.
