Multi-Session CD Burning

The ability to create Multi-Session CDs is a Premium feature for Real Service members and RealPlayer Plus owners. The Multi-Session option, available for MP3 or Data CD Types, can be selected with the Edit Options... command in the CD Burner (see the step-by-step procedure below). When enabled, this option allows you to burn media files (MP3 or Data disc) to optical media, without finalizing the disc, and then lets you add additional files to the disc at a later time.

To finalize a Multi-Session CD, start another burn session with the CD, deselect the Multi-Session option with the Edit Options... command, add additional files (optional), and then burn the CD.

Note: Some MP3 players, as well as CD-ROM and DVD drives, cannot read discs that have not been finalized. Finalized discs meet all CD and DVD playback standards.
