Save CD Tracks to My Library

Insert a CD. If you have not already saved this CD, RealPlayer will ask if you would like to save it now.
Click Yes.
RealPlayer will open the CD page and begin saving your tracks. The Status column displays the recording status of each track (Pending, in progress (icon), or Saved).
Once all tracks are saved, RealPlayer will automatically eject the CD. You can change this setting in CD Preferences.

Insert a CD into a CD drive.
Click CD/DVD in the View menu to open the CD/DVD page.
If you do not see the CD tracks listed, make sure you have the active drive correctly set.
Click Save Tracks in the Tasks area of the sidebar to open the Save Tracks dialog.
Select or clear the tracks you wish to save to My Library.
Click OK. RealPlayer will begin saving your tracks.

Once all tracks are saved, RealPlayer will play a sound. (You can change this setting in CD Preferences so the player automatically ejects the CD.)

RealPlayer will automatically save CD tracks to My Library each time you play a new CD. You can change this setting by selecting Tools > Preferences... in your Player menus, then choosing CD in the Preferences dialog, and then selecting or clearing the Prompt to Save CD option.

Saved Track Memory

If you have previously saved one or more tracks from a CD, RealPlayer will remember this information. If, at a later time, you start to save tracks to My Library from the same CD, RealPlayer will indicate which tracks have previously been saved. You will have the option to make an additional copy of the files you made earlier, or to leave them alone.
