Import Media Files

If you have existing media files on your hard drive, such as RealAudio or MP3s, or even music you saved using another program, RealPlayer makes it simple for you to import those files to your RealPlayer media library (My Library). You can import any supported media formats, as well as playlists (lists of media files) from products such as CD Streamer, MusicMatch or WinAmp.

Remember: importing files into RealPlayer does not change the location of the files on your hard drive (See Move File.. to learn how). RealPlayer simply creates a shortcut to the file in My Library. (See Media Clips for details.)
