Menu Option

 

Description

Equalizer

Opens Equalizer control panel. This panel includes an On/Off indicator.

Crossfade

Opens Crossfade control panel. This panel includes an On/Off indicator.

Video Controls

Opens Video Controls for image adjustment. You can control the contrast, brightness, color level, hue and sharpness as you would on a TV.

Check for Update

Initiates a check for any RealPlayer upgrades or plug-ins that are available from the Real Software Update Service.

Add A New Device...

Opens the Devices page in a Browser window. Lists portable device drivers that are available for download and installation.

CD

Get CD Info

RealPlayer will attempt to recognize and retrieve information about the CD in the active drive from music information databases stored on your computer and on the Internet.

Save CD Tracks [Drive X:]

All available CD capable drives are listed (including DVD/CD drives). Select a drive with an Audio CD loaded to open the Select Tracks dialog. (See Save CD Tracks for details.)

CD Burner

Opens the CD Burner in the Burn/Transfer page. (Available only if a CD burner is installed.)

Remove Missing Media...

Removes all clips from My Library that no longer have an associated media file.

Convert Media Format...

Opens Convert Media Format dialog for the selected clip(s).

Note: Media playback must be stopped before selecting this feature.

Move Files...

Moves the media files associated with selected clips. The file can be moved to any local drive and folder. The clip is not moved. Browse for the destination drive and folder and click OK to move the file.

Change File Names...

Opens the Change File Names dialog. Select naming options; then rename the files associated with the selected clips or clip category. Name changes are based on your selection and the clip properties.

Record From Mic/Line In...

Opens Record from Analog Sources dialog. Enables recording from the Mic or Line-in inputs of your sound card.

Playback Statistics

Displays information about the data stream generated by the currently queued clip.

Preferences...

Opens the Preferences window. View and modify all your RealPlayer preferences.

Note: The indicates a submenu.
