View Menu

Contains controls related to how RealPlayer is displayed, and which pages are displayed in the Media Browser.

Menu Option

Description

RealPlayer is displayed as a window on the Desktop.

RealPlayer controls are in the Toolbar at the bottom of the screen. When clips with video or Visualization images are played, the controls are displayed in a detached Presentation window. If the Media Browser is open, it is also displayed as a detached window. (See Toolbar mode for details.)

Theater mode

RealPlayer controls are in the Toolbar at the bottom of the screen and the desktop is replaced with a black background. Video images are shown in the middle of the screen, and if open the Media Browser will become a hidden detached window. (To view the Media Browser, press ALT+TAB to make it the active window.)

Note: Theater mode does not alter the contents of the desktop, only its appearance while in this mode.

Zoom

Original Size	Changes the resize frame to 100% of current video image default size.
Double Size	Changes the resize frame to 200% of current video image default size.
Full Screen Theater	Changes the display mode to Theater mode and expands the video image to fill the monitor screen. (See Theater Mode for details.)

Message Center

Opens the Message Center.

Show Related Info

Select to enable the display of Related Info in the Presentation area.

Album Info

(Default is Show Only When Available.) Enables the Album Info display option. Information appears to the right of the Player Controls.

Hide Album Information

Choose Visualizations

(Default is None.) Opens the Visualization menu. (See Visualization for more information.) Lists all available Visualizations, with the current Visualization highlighted in bold font. Select a Visualization (or None) from the list to change the active Visualization.

Visualization Settings... Allows you to customize how the Visualization responds to sounds. (Not applicable to all visualizations.)

Get More Visualizations... Opens Visualizations download page in the Media Browser. Download and open new visualizations to add them to your list.

Delete Visualizations... Opens the file folder containing the available Visualization files (*.rpv). Select and delete the desired files to remove a Visualization from the list.

Choose Skin

(Default is RealPlayer.) Opens the Skins menu. (See Skins for more information.) Lists available skins, the current skin in bold. Select a Skin from the available list to change Skins.

Get More Skins... Opens Visualizations download page in the Media Browser.

Delete Skins... Opens the file folder containing the available Skins files (*.rjs). Select and delete files to remove them from the Skins list.

Media pages

Opens the selected page in the Media Browser; the same as if the page were selected from the Browser tabs.

Real Guide	Opens the Real home page.
Music Store	Opens the Music Store. Sample and purchase music from a vast online library of music.
Music Guide	Opens the Music Guide page. Discover and hear music from artist of every genre.
Radio	Opens the Radio page. Select and play streaming audio from a variety of Internet Radio stations.
My Library	Library of media clips.
CD/DVD	Play CD or DVD and save CD to My Library.
Burn/Transfer	Burn CDs, copy files to portable players and other storage devices.
Search	Search Internet resources for specific media.
Web	Opens the Web page, giving you direct access to the Internet.
Now Playing	Open and closes the Now Playing list.

On Top While Playing

Keeps RealPlayer on top of all other opened windows while a clip is playing.
