1. Select View > My Library ( ) from the RealPlayer menu bar.

2. Select New AutoPlaylist in the Tasks area of the sidebar. The New AutoPlaylist wizard appears.

3. Select Create with rules (advanced) and click Next to add and edit rules used to select clips.

4. Click Add.... The Clip Selection Rule window opens.

5. Select a clip property in the Select clips by: drop-down list. (For example: Artist.) A list of criteria appears for that property.

1. Check properties to use them as search items.

2. Select the NOT box if you want to make the checked properties an exclusion.

3. Click OK to add this clip selection rule to your list.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to create additional clip selection rules.

7. Click Next when you have added or edited all your selection rules.

8. Enter the AutoPlaylist name.

9. (Optional) Set the clip Rating preference.

10. (Optional) Set the maximum length of the AutoPlaylist (total playlist play time). When the mix is created, clips will be added until this limit is reached.

11. (Optional) Set the clip length maximum limit. Clips that exceed the limit will be excluded.

12. (Optional) Set the AutoPlaylist to automatically remix each time it is played.

13. Select the types of media to include; select Audio, Video, and/or Internet Streams.

14. Click Finish. RealPlayer creates your AutoPlaylist based on the rules and options you have selected. Clips are added at random until the mix time limit is reached, or all available matching clips are added.
     

A tool that walks you through a process, such as configuring the RealPlayer or creating a CD. Wizards usually contain a series of screens, each containing one or more options, and buttons that allow you to proceed (Next), or back up (Back), or close the wizard and save your settings (Finish).
