Resize and Move Windows and Panels

RealPlayer can be resized and moved with or without the Media Browser being open. You can resize, minimize, maximize, restore, or move RealPlayer in the same way you can any other Window. In addition, when either the Media Browser or the Now Playing list is detached from the main body of RealPlayer, each can be resized and moved independently.

Moving Windows

Click and drag any non interactive area (where cursor does not change) of RealPlayer, the Media Browser, or the Now Playing window to move the whole window.

Description

Resize (window)

Click and hold the resize tab; then drag to resize the whole window. (Not available when window is maximized.)

Resize (Presentation Area)

Click, hold, and drag the tab up and down to resize the Presentation Area.

Hold SHIFT key down while resizing to maintain the Album Info/Related Info area size.
Hold CTRL key down while resizing to resize the whole window.
Double-click this tab to close or restore the Presentation Area.

Minimize

Reduces RealPlayer to an icon in the Windows Task bar. (RealPlayer continues to function.)

Maximize

Increases the size of the window to fill your desktop.

Restore

Returns window to its previous size (when window is maximized).

Closes RealPlayer, or the related panel (Media Browser, Now Playing, etc.).

Detach Browser

Detaches the Media Browser or Now Playing list from RealPlayer. Each will appear as a separate window.

Attach Browser

Reattaches the Media Browser or Now Playing list to RealPlayer.

Resizing Panels

When the Now Playing list or the Organizer appears in the Media Browser, it can be resized horizontally by clicking and dragging the vertical bar separating it from the rest of the browser page. The same is true for the sidebar in the Burn/Transfer page.

Video Screen

The video screen, which is used to show video content, can be resized by a Resize Frame. See Video Screen for details.
