The Sidebar

Commands and information related to the currently displayed Browser page are listed in a sidebar on the left side of the page. Various lists of commands and information can be displayed, depending on which Browser page or dialog is open:

Some items that appear in the sidebar:

  • Tasks: Common Tasks related to the currently displayed page are listed in the Music & My Library and Burn/Transfer pages.

  • Views: Lists the various views (Music Store, Music Guide, Radio, CD/DVD, My Library) for Music & My Library.

  • Status: Displays the status of the CD/DVD rewrite drive and many newer portable devices in Burn/Transfer.
