Convert Media Format

Convert Media, a Premium Feature, allows you to change the format and quality level of the media files associated with your media clips. You can convert audio media from any supported format (except secure formats) into MP3, RealAudio, and Wave formats.

Note: Video files can be converted into only audio format files. The video content will not be copied.

Use Convert Media to:

• Reduce the amount of disk space that your audio files use.

• Change the quality level of your audio and video clips.

• Prepare audio files for transfer to a portable device.

• Save the audio portion of a video file.

Note: The Convert Media option is not available while clips are playing or paused. The VBR (Variable Bit-Rate) option is available only with MP3 files. 

Caution: Convert Media is an advanced feature and should be used with care. Some Convert Media actions will result in the loss of data (quality) and/or the deletion of files.
