RealPlayer can play any type of media that your computer is set up to play (Universal Media Playback), including audio, video, and streaming media formats. RealPlayer also uses other types of files, including RealJukebox "skin" files and Track Info template packages. Below is a list of RealPlayer file types. For a complete listing of file formats currently supported by your RealPlayer, click Advanced in your Media Types Preferences.
Note: To import supported media files to My Library, see Import Media Files.
RealNetworks is always working to add more compatibility to RealPlayer. When new formats are available, RealPlayer will automatically install them when you attempt to play that type of content. Alternately, you can manually check for new components using AutoUpdate.
